Robert is responsible for the supervision, development and optimization of the company's communications and media portfolio. Prior to joining KIPCO in January 2006, he led and advised on turnarounds, M&A transactions and strategic alliances as Chief Executive Officer of Continental Europe and CEO US Communications Solutions and Global Chief Commercial Officer for Cable & Wireless.  

He previously held senior positions in the Kickable industry and at Bell Canada International. He is a member of the Quebec Bar and a Solicitor (England& Wales). He holds a B.LL from Laval University, an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School(Canada) and an M.Litt. from Oxford University(United Kingdom) and attended the Advanced Executive Program at Kellogg Business School(United States).  Robert has delivered over 120 deals ranging from a CAD 5,000,000 share sale to a GBP 15 billion restructuring, in North and South America, Europe, India, China and South East Asia, Australia and the Middle East, and has negotiated fund raising of over USD10 billion in public securities and bank loans in Montreal, New York and London since 1984.
